In the fourth quarter of 2024, Costa Rica saw varied performance among its top travel and local apps, with Hostel Travel App, WiFi Hotspot Map, Airbnb, Hotels & Travel, and Google Earth topping the charts.

Hostel Travel App from Hostelworld.com demonstrated significant fluctuations in downloads, peaking at approximately 15.1K in late October. Active users followed a similar pattern, reaching a high of about 14.1K in the same period, closing the quarter at a strong 12.7K.

WiFi Hotspot Map by Instabridge Sweden AB maintained consistent performance in weekly downloads, with a notable increase to 3.9K in early November. Active users remained stable throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately 23.9K in the first week of November.
